With 19 events to its credit, more than 150 concerts and the participation of 570 musicians, the Festival has become a stable institution.
Stable in its summer appointment, the Aegina International Music Festival returns this year from 2 to 24 August celebrating 20 years of life - two decades full of music, dialogues, meetings, moments on an island that knows how to listen and enjoy. Since 2005, Aegina has evolved into a meeting place for great artists and philanthropic audiences.
With 19 events to its credit, more than 150 concerts and the participation of 570 musicians, the Festival has become a stable institution on the cultural map of the country.
This year, the Festival will return to three unique locations in Aegina:
- in the courtyard of Church "Tama of the Greeks",
- at the beach of Aura, in the shadow of the archaeological site of Colonel,
- and in the stone Theatre of Pachiorachi.

The programme includes:
- Chamber music concerts with important Greek and international soloists,
- Evenings of singing and musicals,
- A tribute to Maurice Ravel,
- And a big surprise concert for the finale.
The detailed programme will be announced in July.
The Festival remains open and welcoming: with free entrance for unemployed, disabled and students and with short explanations of the works before each concert - so that everyone has the opportunity to penetrate unseen aspects of the compositions included in the programme of each evening.
Organized by the Mission Art AMKE and the Popi Malapani, under the Artistic Direction of Dora Bakopoulou and Elena Junta.
